In July 2023, retail Financial Services firms were heads-down, sprinting towards the Consumer Duty deadline.
They were hard yards! Respect and rest are equally due.
But the firms we’d spoken with knew that it’s a deadline, not a finish line. The Consumer Duty isn’t only a set of things to deliver by July 20223. Rather than complying with it, the FCA wants firms to permanently embed the Duty.
So let’s look ahead and make the next bit easier.
