Being our client

Our working principles

1. Open and collaborative

When change happens to a service or an organisation, the people most impacted must be central to the process. We know that the most positive and successful results come from close collaboration.

2. Risk aware

We work quickly to test our ideas and thinking early – both with users and with stakeholders. This reduces risk from later in the process, when it’s much more costly to course correct.

3. Flexible approach

We know that things change as we work with you and as we understand more about the people we’re doing research with. That’s why we plan to be flexible. We start with our best guess, in terms of our approach and plans. But then we respond to what we learn and change as we go.

4. Outcomes over outputs

At the start of our work, we define success in terms of specific and meaningful outcomes, rather focussing on details of deliverables. We then measure progress based on whether we are getting closer to that outcome.
