Walt Buchan Director of User Research

Walt has over 11 years experience of designing interactions, documenting design and researching user experience. Working with clients such as eBay, Environment Agency, Peugeot, Nokia and TUI helping them all to be more customer focused and improve their users’ experiences of their products and services.

Walt’s role as senior consultant allows him the freedom to be involved in all stages of a project, but what he likes best are the disciplines of research, analysis and solution development.

Research validity and analytical reliability

Walt’s experience of qualitative research and analysis techniques provides essential rigor to the execution of research, both in the lab and in the field and in the development of robust reports and recommendations.

Eight years of interaction design and front end development experience provide Walt with the experience to design, document and present solutions that are good looking, practical and implementable.

And when Walt isn’t focussing on research and design

Away from cxpartners Walt focuses on family life with the three best kids in the world, the bits in between are taken up with the restoration of a mid Victorian townhouse with sash windows that actually slide up and down.
