James Chudley User Experience Director

James has spent over 10 years’ working in user experience within consultancies, digital agencies, the public sector and academia.

User centred design expertise

James is responsible for leading user experience projects at cxpartners. He specialises in information architecture and usability, having established user experience departments in both digital agencies and client side organisations.

James is involved throughout the project lifecycle – from writing proposals and planning projects, executing the work and presenting findings to our clients.

Previous clients and user experience community involvement

James has worked on projects across the public and private sectors with his recent work focusing on researching and designing user experiences within the travel and financial sectors.

Past clients and employers include Expedia, Unum, AXA, BBC, EON, HSA, Northcliffe Media, Environment Agency, DEFRA, Peugeot, Kia Motors, Fish4, Triumph Motorcycles, James Villas, QCA, Orange, V&A, PWC and Yell.com.

He is actively involved in the ux community, having co-founded the UXBristol bookclub, is a member of the Usability Professionals’ Association and the Information Architecture Institute.

And when James is not wireframing or testing prototypes…

James spends his spare time chasing squash balls, losing golf balls and taking photographs of anything and everything.
