Fiz Yazdi User Experience Director

As User Experience Director, Fiz leads a team of consultants to deliver projects. She is collaborative and inclusive in her approach and has an enviable track record of managing large and complicated UX projects to a successful outcome.

A wealth of experience

Fiz has been managing projects for over 15 years and working in Human Computer Interaction for much of that time; she completed a Computer Science MSc. in Intelligent Systems in 2000.

She has championed user-centered research and design for the Houses of Parliament, Microsoft, Mothercare, Nokia, Lastminute.com, Procter & Gamble, and UCAS.

Fiz enjoys working across platforms – from web to tablet to mobile – anywhere she can put into practice her expertise in Usability, User Experience and Information Architecture.

Taking it into her own hands

Fiz’s experience with truly awful interface design whilst studying for her PhD. in Chemical Physics was the start of her path to user experience consultancy. She had to battle daily with poorly designed software to control her Lasers. It was not nice.

She now delights in designing great user experiences for her clients and is currently having fun with responsive web design.

Some of her most favourite experiences are:

Watching Battlestar Gallactica, The Wire, The Trip and Peep Show
Visiting indie cafes for lovely cups of coffee
Going on holiday to beautiful places
Buying robot shoes for Roxy Coco and Lyla Belle
