Walt has over 11 years experience of designing interactions, documenting design and researching user experience. Working with clients such as eBay, Environment Agency, Peugeot, Nokia and TUI helping them all to be more customer focused and improve their users’ experiences of their products and services.

Walt’s role as senior consultant allows him the freedom to be involved in all stages of a project, but what he likes best are the disciplines of research, analysis and solution development.

Research validity and analytical reliability

Walt’s experience of qualitative research and analysis techniques provides essential rigor to the execution of research, both in the lab and in the field and in the development of robust reports and recommendations.

Eight years of interaction design and front end development experience provide Walt with the experience to design, document and present solutions that are good looking, practical and implementable.

And when Walt isn’t focussing on research and design

Away from cxpartners Walt focuses on family life with the three best kids in the world, the bits in between are taken up with the restoration of a mid Victorian townhouse with sash windows that actually slide up and down.

Rob joined cxpartners in August 2010. He provides project management support across the portfolio of cxpartners’ projects.

Rob’s previous role involved project managing in an Agile software development environment, delivering complex projects for use by local authorities. His background in Agile allows for flexible and responsive delivery of customer experience projects. He loves working with rapid prototyping but is equally at home in a PRINCE 2 environment. Within cxpartners Rob gets stuck into project documentation and ensures projects are delivered on spec, on budget and on time.

When he’s not playing with spreadsheets or constructing project plans

Rob is generally found with a PS3 controller in his hands, or managing AFC Wimbledon to world domination on Football manager. In the real world, he spends his time cooking, searching for the ultimate gadget and being bossed around by his rather sizeable cat.

Richard formed cxpartners with Giles Colborne in 2004. The aim was, and still is, to focus on creating the best user experiences that give measurable differences to our clients’ projects.

A strong background in user experience

Richard has been working on digital projects for over 14 years, working most recently with clients such as Expedia, Jaguar, The Cooperative Bank, Nokia and The Planning Portal.

Within cxpartners Richard oversees projects and helps to implement new techniques and deliverables for our clients.

Richard helps develop vision and strategic direction for how our clients can manage their user experience, and presents this to client and partner teams up to board level.

As a practitioner Richard is always looking for ways to get his hands dirty. He’ll frequently be running workshops and scribbling on whiteboards.

And when Richard is not focusing on usability and accessibility?

Richard has been a guest lecturer at the Universities of Bristol and Bath on business and entrepreneurship.

Away from cxpartners Richard can be found in the kitchen baking (normally bread), or in the garage tinkering with one of his bicycles.
