Jesmond Allen – Principal Consultant

Jesmond is a skilled user experience consultant. She has bags of experience designing user interfaces and information architectures for web, mobile and computer applications. Jesmond has a BA in Fine Art and (just to keep things interesting) an MSc in Computer Science and has worked in the internet industry since 1996. She has a passion for good design and wants ‘usable’ to also mean ‘beautiful’.

Jesmond has worked with clients such as Microsoft, Platform, the Army, Island Cruises & Nokia to create compelling, usable interfaces.

Jesmond is currently working in-house at Nokia Music where she’s working on an exciting piece of desktop software and learning all about UX in Agile development.

Muddy walks

Likes going on walks with her family
Tries to stop her husband from spending too much money on cameras and other toys
Is mourning the end of The Wire and frankly isn’t sure The Shield box set will fill the void
