Fiz Yazdi – Principal Consultant
As a Principal Consultant Fiz leads a team of consultants to deliver projects. She is collaborative and inclusive in her approach and has an enviable track record of managing large and complicated projects to a successful outcome.
A wealth of experience
Fiz has been managing projects for over 15 years and working in Human Computer Interaction for much of that time; she completed a Computer Science MSc. in Intelligent Systems in 2000.
She has championed user-centered research and design for the Houses of Parliament, Microsoft, DEFRA, Nokia, Lastminute.com, Procter & Gamble, UCAS and the Environment Agency.
Fiz enjoys working across platforms – from web to mobile and software – anywhere she can put into practice her expertise in Usability, User Experience and Information Architecture.
Taking it into her own hands
Fiz’s experience with bad interface design whilst studying Chemical Physics was the start of her path to user experience consultancy. She had to battle daily with poorly designed software to control her Lasers. She now delights in designing great user experiences for her clients and making things easier to use.
Some of her most favourite experiences are:
Watching Battlestar Gallactica, The Wire, Spaced and Peep Show
Visiting indie cafes for lovely cups of coffee
Going on holiday to beautiful places
Buying robot shoes for Roxy Coco
